When you talk to Jason Criddle and Shazaib Khan, two names that have been making noise in both the tech and automotive spaces lately, you get the sense that something big is brewing.
Jason Criddle, founder of Jason Criddle & Associates and the visionary behind DOMINAIT.ai, has spent more than a decade building software that empowers users and small businesses. His newest venture, DOMINAIT, is poised to redefine artificial intelligence. But that’s not the only thing he’s launching this winter.
At the same time, Criddle and Khan are preparing for the official debut of Carbon. A sleek, next-generation social experience designed to become the go to tool and economic heartbeat of the growing car community.
And now, thanks to a newly announced partnership with The Phoenix Insurance, a Dallas-based firm known for its specialization in exotic, luxury, and collector vehicle coverage, the Carbon app is about to offer something no other car app on the planet does… direct access to personalized insurance policies for high-end car owners. You heard that right folks.
If the Carbon App is the next evolutionary step for the car community, it doesn’t make sense to just go with any random brokerage. Phoenix was hand picked and sought out by the two founders of Carbon.
Building the Ultimate Car Community
The car community is one of the most passionate, loyal, and diverse cultures in America, but oddly, it’s also one of the most disconnected online. Most apps that attempt to bring enthusiasts together end up either focusing on one niche (like event listings) or becoming glorified social media clones filled with ads that are designed to make money for the company that built the app. Carbon is designed to be a source of revenue for the users, the hosts, the sponsors… you know; the car community. What a strange concept, right?
Criddle and Khan saw the gaps and decided to fix them.
“We didn’t want to just make another social app,” Khan explains. “We wanted to give people a true digital home for their passion. Something where they could find events, buy and sell cars or parts, connect with like-minded people, and even manage their insurance. A complete ecosystem the community needs.”
At DownloadCarbon.com, users will soon be able to download the app that’s poised to do just that. Carbon’s interface will feature local car meets, races, and community events, as well as a robust marketplace that allows individuals and event hosts to sell car parts, accessories, and even vehicles.
But what really sets Carbon apart is its reward-based ecosystem. A feature inspired by the Smartr software family Jason Criddle’s company has been perfecting for over a decade. Users will not only be able to interact and transact but earn commissions by referring others who make purchases within the app, whether from promoting events, private event ticket sales, or generating sales through their own activity inside the app.
From Track Days to Tail Lights and Why the Phoenix Partnership Matters
When asked about Carbon’s new partnership with The Phoenix Insurance, Jason smiles like someone who knows this move just changed the game.

“Phoenix is special because they actually understand car collectors,” he says. “They aren’t trying to compete on being the cheapest option for your daily driver. They’re about protecting real driver’s and collector’s passions; the exotics, the classics, the rare cars that people pour their heart, time, and money into.”
Phoenix Insurance, led by a team of experienced brokers in Dallas, has spent years becoming a go-to resource for car enthusiasts with specialty insurance needs. Whether it’s a Lamborghini Gallardo, a vintage Mustang, or a six-figure collection of European performance cars, Phoenix has built its reputation by tailoring coverage that understands how car owners truly live for their rides.
“Our clients don’t just drive cars. They live for them,” says Justin Husman – Founder and CMO of The Phoenix Insurance. “We insure the stories behind the cars, while most car insurance companies just focus on their own bottom line.”
That attention to detail aligns perfectly with Carbon’s mission. Through the new integration, Carbon users will soon be able to start the process right inside the app, eliminating the need to call some 1-800 number and speaking to a chatbot that doesn’t care about their love for their rides.
A Digital Home for Every Driver
While Phoenix will cater to the collectors and exotic car owners, Criddle emphasizes that Carbon is for everyone.
“We’re not leaving anyone out,” he clarifies. “Sure, Phoenix handles the Ferraris and Bentleys, but the kid with the 500hp twin turbo Civic Si that he’s been working on for years and pouring every spare penny into? He or she is part of this community as well, and The Phoenix has a policy in place for them too. Carbon was built for all of us.”
The app’s community-building features go far beyond simple event listings. Users will be able to create their own clubs, organize private or public meets, and even run micro-communities dedicated to specific cars: from the McLaren Owners of Dallas all the way down to a local 1993 Civic Si fan group.
And motorcyclists, we didn’t forget about you. The car community is for the 2-wheeled beasts as well. We all just have to admit that we all us the term Car Community, right?
Hosts and sponsors can offer discounts, deals, and giveaways to event attendees directly through the platform. And as the network expands, Carbon plans to integrate exclusive partnerships with brands offering savings on gas, tires, detailing, performance parts, and more. So be on the lookout for more partnerships that compliment the app just like Phoenix.
“A Living, Breathing Ecosystem”
What makes Carbon stand out is how deeply it borrows from the entrepreneurial DNA of Jason Criddle & Associates. Criddle’s business philosophy has always been about shared success and creating technology that benefits everyone involved.

“When I wrote my first book, Trainer to Trillionaire, I said I would build a trillion-dollar company by paying my customers to help me build it,” Jason says. “Carbon follows that same spirit. We don’t just want people to use the app. We want them to grow with its success.
This means Carbon users who help promote, refer, and build the community can actually earn revenue through affiliate referrals, event promotions, or purchases made through the app, everyone has the opportunity to participate in the ecosystem.
It’s a community-first model that stands in sharp contrast to traditional social platforms that monetize their users’ data while giving them nothing in return.
The DOMINAIT Connection
The timing of Carbon’s release is no coincidence. Around the same time the Carbon app is set to launch, DOMINAIT.ai, Jason’s long-awaited post-AGI system, is scheduled for its alpha release as well.
Where Carbon is about community, DOMINAIT is about capability. It’s the first decentralized intelligence grid that allows users to build agents, automate tasks, and even train their own AI companions using their own data, all while running on local infrastructure.
Criddle believes that in the future, DOMINAIT and Carbon will eventually overlap… with DOMINAIT’s AI powering deeper personalization, smarter recommendations, and intelligent community management within Carbon’s ecosystem.

The Visionaries Behind the Wheel
Shazaib Khan, the man with the dream and car enthusiast at heart, has been equally instrumental in shaping the app’s direction. A lifelong gearhead and a lover of the community, understands what car enthusiasts actually want. Simply because he is one.
“Car culture has always been about passion,” Khan says. “But online, it’s been fragmented. You’ve got one app for finding meets, another for selling cars, another for messaging people. Carbon fixes that. It’s all in one place. Social, marketplace, events, and now insurance. And it’s just going to get better.”
His excitement is palpable. The idea that an app could unify an entire culture; from luxury car collectors to grassroots racers is something that’s long overdue.
The Road Ahead
With Carbon and DOMINAIT both set to launch this winter, 2026 is shaping up to be a monumental year for Jason Criddle & Associates and SmartrHoldings.
From building business automation infrastructure with DOMINAIT.ai to bringing together real-world communities through Carbon, the firm is demonstrating what’s possible when innovation meets intention.
Phoenix Insurance’s involvement only adds credibility and reach, anchoring Carbon as not just a tech startup, but a platform with real-world value for real enthusiasts.
